Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA)

If the claimant's case goes all the way to federal court and the court ultimately finds that the government was wrong to deny the claimant benefits all those years, the claimant may be able to make the government pay the claimant's attorney fees. EAJA was intended to help the little guy have a chance against big government.
